b.young autumn collection 2007: Minimalism plus

This season, b.young takes us back in time - and back to basics. Minimalism has taken control of the wardrobe and details have been vetoed in favour of greater focus on quality and silhouette.

The autumn 2007 collection from b.young blends feminine and voluminous shapes with razor-sharp masculine lines. The clothes have taken on greater volume and the designers have opted for beautiful silhouettes instead of merely slavishly following a single trend. Oversized tops are contrasted, for example, by narrow, tapered trousers so they appear elegant rather than large. Classic sharp shirts with light body cuts are back in vogue, matched by soft full skirts. Simple body-hugging suits with waistcoats lend a refined look, while jackets with balloon and kimono sleeves add a softer and more feminine touch.
