The brand UGG Australia was created by Brian Smith in 1978 in Southern California and is a footwear company and a division of the Deckers Corporation. Brian Smith was in love with the sheepskin experience and was convinced that the world would one day share this love so he started comercialize sheepskin boots. Quickly his sheepskin boots become popular and the UGG brand became the symbol of relaxed southern California culture. Today, the UGG Australia collection carries other footwear, bags, clothing, home goods and outerwear as well. The brand is present in more than 130 countries.
