MSc Textiles

This course will develop your practical skills in textile testing including colour measurement and materials characterisation before allowing you to specialise in areas that are interesting to you. We offer you the opportunity to develop a knowledge and understanding of clothing design technology and fashion sustainability whilst also gaining skills in consultancy, management and innovation 

You will be taught by experts in one of the UK’s major hubs for textile research, this programme will help you gain the specialist knowledge and skills to build a career in a fast-paced and challenging sector. 

This course is accredited by The Textile Institute and you will graduate with Associate level (CText ATI) accreditation, this demonstrates a good broad knowledge of textiles and its application. It is also accredited by the Society of Dyers and Colourists as being equivalent to its ASDC examinations leading to Chartered Colourist (CCol) status.
